Cloud Busters takes on Rochester VMUG

July 2012: The Cloud Busters have been added to the leadership of the Rochester VMWARE User Group. Activities are underway to provide an August event tied with VMWARE’s VMWORLD.

 

Computer Network Builders launches July 4 TV

June 2012: Computer Network Builders in partnership with the Andover Fourth of July Committee announces the launch of July 4 TV. The station will show video from previous Andover Fourth of July events.

 

88-Blog to do Health and Fitness Series

April 2012: The 88-Blog has been in existence since August 2008. A new series focused on Health and Fitness was announced during the April broadcast of the 88-Podcast. The series will provide information for getting in shape and interviews of 88 Alumni.

 

Computer Network Builders launches new blog

March 2012: Computer Network Builders launches a new blog entitled Kevin’s Coffee Break. This non-business oriented blog is intended to provide water cooler discussions.

 

Computer Network Builders launches St. Paul TV

December 2011: Computer Network Builders announces the launch of St. Paul TV. The station will show live services and events as well as pre-recorded content. Full publication of the internet TV station is expected in Q1 2012.

 

Computer Network Builders works with St. Paul Lutheran

October 2011: Computer network Builders announces an arrangement with St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hilton NY to produce video of services and events.

 

Computer Network Builders Partners with Computer Task Force

September 2011: Computer Network Builders announces a partnership with the Rochester Computer Task Force to meet client needs for computer repair. While CNB has expertise with networks, RCTF can help clients with acquisition, maintenance, and repair of their computers.

 

Computer Network Builders launches Cloud Busters Podcast

August 2011: Computer Network Builders announces plans to launch a cloud based podcast in September. The podcast will initially focus on Amazon AWS but could expand into other areas of the cloud. The podcast website will include links to related resources including a Cloud Busters Blog.

 

Disney-gTV to broadcast live

July 2011: Disney-gTV (owned by Computer Network Builders and available on Gilbert Internet TV) will do a live show from Main Street Disney World on July 23 starting at noon.

 

Computer Network Builders goes to the cloud!

July 2011: At Computer Network Builders, we “eat our own dog food”. We built our 250sqft server room in 2003. In 2008 we virtualized the server room. In 2009 we converted the server room into a private cloud. In 2010 most of the iTV went to a Saas Cloud provider. In 2011 most of our web based offerings went to an IaaS Cloud provider.

 

88-PodCast to do live show

June 2011: The 88-Pod cast has made arrangements to do a live broadcast of the Andover New York Fourth of July Parade. A podcast will follow the parade, broadcast live from the fair grounds.

 

Gilbert Internet TV launches DisneyGTV

May 2011: Gilbert Internet TV (owned by Computer Network Builders) announces the launch of Disney gTV, an iTV station available at GilbertInternetTV.com. The first release of the station will host home movies of Disney World experiences. The second release (slated for 2012) will focus on the sites and rides.

 

88-Podcast Announces new format

April 2011: The 88-Podcast (owned by Computer Network Builders) announces a new format for the popular 88-Podcast. The show will be split into four different shows that focus on different audiences. The 80’s show will bring back memories of the 1980’s. The Andover Show will focus on Andover New York. The Class of 88 Show will be an alumni podcast. The Mystery Caller Show will feature guest callers.

 

Gilbert Internet TV announces Live Broadcasting

March 2011: Gilbert Internet TV (owned by Computer Network Builders) announces a partnership with Qik Video the to do live remote mobile broadcasting. The capability allows a cell phone camera to serve as the recording device. The first planned production use will be performed at the Andover Fourth of July Parade followed by a live broadcast from Main Street Disney World on July 23.

 

88-PodCast to do live Christmas Show

December 2010: The 88-Podcast will broadcast a live Christmas show. We are transforming the Andover Haunted House into the Andover Christmas House for one day only on Saturday, December 18.

 

Gilbert Internet TV launches Andover Radio

November 2010: Gilbert Internet TV (owned by Computer Network Builders) announces the launch of Andover Radio, an automated iRadio station available at GilbertInternetTV.com. The radio station will play old time music, radio shows, and Andover podcasts.

 

Gilbert InternetTV launches Myrtle Beach TV

August 2010: Gilbert Internet TV (owned by Computer Network Builders) announces the launch of Myrtle beach gTV, an iTV station available at GilbertInternetTV.com. Viewers will have the opportunity to virtually pull up a chair in the sand and look out at the ocean and hear the sounds of myrtle beach.

 

88-Podcast announces the opening of the 88-Store

July 2010: The popular 88-Podcast (owned by Computer Network Builders) announces the opening of the 88-Store. The 88-Store will feature original artwork by Samantha Thomas. Products for sale will be alumni and Andover New York focused. The 88-Podcast will make no profit on the merchandise.

 

Computer Network Builders launches the 88-Podcast

May 2010: Computer Network Builders announces the launch of the 88-podcast. The podcast will be recorded monthly and will focus on alumni interests and the town of Andover New York.

 

Gilbert Internet TV partners with LiveStream

April 2010: Gilbert Internet TV (owned by Computer Network Builders) announces a partnership with Livestream. Livestream is a video streaming SaaS provider. The partnership will allow Gilbert Internet TV to provide high quality products with maximum up time and high performance while allowing an expansion of channel offerings.

 

Computer Network Builders launches the 88-Blog

February 2010: Related to alumni activities, Computer Network Builders announces the launch of the 88-Blog. The blog will focus on alumni issues and the town of Andover New York.

 

Gilbert Internet TV launches 88-TV

May 2009: Gilbert Internet TV (owned by Computer Network Builders) will launch a new channel called 88-TV in June. 88-TV will be an automated iTV station featuring alumni video

 

Computer Network Builders Virtualizes The Server Room

November 2008: Computer Network Builders built a 250sqft server room in 2003. To deal with equipment obsolesce and rising electrical and cooling costs, Computer Network Builders has virtualized the server room. Instead of consuming the entire server room, Computer network Builders now occupies 90 sqft area yet provides the same amount of service.

 

Computer Network Builders launches 88-Web Site

May 2008: Computer Network Builders announces the launch of the 88-Web Site to coincide with the 20th alumni reunion. The website will be a mash-up of various services.

 

Gilbert Internet TV launches Radio Hilton

May 2007: Gilbert Internet TV (owned by Computer Network Builders) announces the launch of Radio Hilton. Radio Hilton will be an automated iRadio station that will play old time music and have commentary about Hilton, New York. The content of the radio station will change throughout the year depending upon the current date.

 

Computer Network Builders launches Gilbert Internet TV

November 2005: Computer Network Builders will launch Gilbert Internet TV (GTV). GTV will be an iTV based solution providing pre-programmed streaming video channels.
